Index Of Industrial Production and Monthly Manufacturing Statistics Malaysia January 2021 were published on 12 March 2021. Malaysia’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) contracted 2.2 per cent in November 2020 The Industrial Production Index (IPI) contracted 2.2 per cent in November 2020 as compared to the same month of the previous year. The deterioration of IPI in November 2020 was due to the fall in Mining and Electricity index when it recorded a decline of 15.4 per cent and 2.5 per cent respectively. Meanwhile the Manufacturing index continues to grow 2.0 per cent . The Manufacturing sector output based on year-on-year comparison grew by 2.0 per cent in November 2020 after recording a growth of 2.4 per cent in October 2020.
